Bailor Group LLC's President & CEO, Sonya Bailor Promises to Continue Raising Funds for Children's Cancer organizations After Her Son Beat His Battle with Brain Cancer.

Friday, June 17, 2022, was the Annual NFL Alumni Charity Golf Classic at Gaylord Springs Golf Club in Nashville, TN. Bailor Group LLC was a returning sponsor, adding a sponsor tent, taking this year's sponsorship up a level. However, this year, Bailor Group's President & CEO, Sonya Bailor chose to stay at her company tent instead of playing in the tournament with her team as she has in years past.
“Sponsoring this NFL Alumni Charity Golf Classic keeps me in contact with many of the NFL Alumni that I have long-standing relationships with, after working together with them through the NFL Players several years ago." Said Sonya Bailor, President & CEO of Bailor Group LLC. "It also helps raise money for the NFL Alumni Caring for Kids Charities and the American Cancer Society. Those organizations hold a dear place in my heart after my son was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer in 2016. It also allows me to put my business in front of many other impact-minded business sponsors who are looking for growth. To me, it's a win-win all the way around”.
The NFL Alumni Charity Golf Classic is Middle Tennessee's premier Golf Tournament each year, bringing together some of the biggest names in NFL history to give back to the community. This event benefits the NFL Alumni Caring for Kids Charities and the American Cancer Society. Ms. Bailor of Bailor Group LLC values fundraising for these organizations especially after her son was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer in 2016.
The tournament is a 5-man scramble, with each 4-personal team having a Celebrity Captain as their 5th man. Bailor Group's NFL Alumni Celebrity Captain for 2022 was former Defensive End (DE), Gerald Robinson who played from 1986-1994 for the Minnesota Vikings, the San Diego Chargers, and the Los Angeles Rams. Gerald attended Auburn University and is the all-time sack leader for the Tigers.
Bailor Group's sponsorship involvement in this fundraising event has grown each year. The first year, they played on a team. The second year, they played on a team, sponsored a hole, and had executive ink pens in every swag bag. This year, being the third year, they had a team playing, sponsored a hole including having a tent with a game and giveaways, as well as had an insert in each swag bag. Raising the bar each ear with this specific tournament means a lot to Ms. Bailor after her son beat his battle with brain cancer.
