Huntsville, AL - The Catalyst Center for Business and Entrepreneurship has announced its nominees for the prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, and for the third year in a row, Sonya Bailor, CEO of Bailor Group, has been nominated for Female Entrepreneur of the Year. This year, Bailor Group CEO, Sonya Bailor was also nominated for the top award of Entrepreneur of the Year, one of only five nominees for this coveted title.
The Catalyst Center for Business and Entrepreneurship is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing education, training, and resources to entrepreneurs and small businesses in Alabama. The Entrepreneur of the Year Awards is their highest nomination for entrepreneurs who have been in business for over three years and have a proven track record for sustainability, strategic direction, future growth, and community involvement. Only five entrepreneurs total have been nominated for the coveted title of 2023 Entrepreneur of the Year.

She has also recently been appointed as VP Board of Directors for the Women in Cyber Security North Alabama Affiliate Chapter. As a strong advocate for charitable causes, Bailor is actively involved in various philanthropic efforts, including sponsoring the NFL Alumni's annual charity golf tournament that benefits children's cancer organizations, as her son is a brain cancer survivor.
